I am mostly self-taught. I picked up a camera in 2000 and never put it down--quite literally. Since I got started, I've taken every opportunity to hone my craft, whether via portraiture, live events or wedding photography.

What inspires me most about photography is capturing, revelaing... telling the stories of my subjects. When I'm shooting people, I want mostly to see and show their emotions. My greatest influence? Gordon Parks. His timeless photography speaks volumes and will always serve as an inspiration to me.

I place a major emphasis on getting to know my subjects and making them feel as comfortable as possible. To me, this is the only way to achieve my goal of creative a beautiful image that also tells a story.
